The Student of the year gave us actors like Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, and Sidharth Malhotra, so does the SOTY2. The film is being directed by Punit Malhotra starring Tiger Shroff, this Karan Johar production also marks the debut of Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. You must have seen Ananya Panday as a child artist in Big Bada Boom(Disney India) and Oye Jassie and The suite life of Karan & Kabir. Tiger who is collaborating with Dharma Production for the first time shared his experience says he really enjoyed a lot and like other people, he also gets hurt and bleeds he is not a superman. I am very thankful to Karan and Punit as they stood by me in every scene. It was a fun working with them.

We give SOTY2 2 stars as there is nothing new in this movie. It is a masala movie which lapses on many fronts. As far as the performance of the stars concerned is pretty average. It is a sequel of 2012 edition in which nothing is refreshing rather everything seems dispiritedly common. So despite the presence of tiger shroff and two new faces, the movie is failed to leave an impression.
